When we launch and release a new, upgraded version of Datalog, such as 5.2, it is because we have improved the technology, added new features and functions, and it is intended to supersede the previous version of Datalog completely.
Datalog 5.2, our most current software was released because we can no longer effectively support some of the older versions as they are no longer compatible with the latest hardware and operating systems users have access to.
Running old, outdated, and obsolete versions of any software can put your site and organisation at risk and to reduce these risks it is vital that you upgrade to the latest version. Outdated software is more vulnerable to cyber-attacks as they do not normally have the latest security updates running and installed.
